Song by Kanizsa Csillagai, hungarian gypsy folk band from Transilvanya. Also populirized by Gogol Bordello’s version: Madagascar-Roumania

Tu jésty fáta

Tu esti fata care n-are ,
n-are , n-are suflet n-are,
care n-are suflet n-are….

Haide fata tu afara
sa te vada toti tiganii,
Haide fata tu afara

Hai Doamne ce-i cu fire ,
nu-ti gasesc ce-i cu mine,
hai off Doamne ce-i cu fire (x2)

Tu esti fata fata buna,
care cu mine se joaca,
care cu mine nu se joaca

Haide fata tu afara
sa te vada toti tiganii,
Haide fata tu afara

Hai Doamne ce-i cu fire ,
nu-ti gasesc ce-i cu mine,
hai off Doamne ce-i cu fire (x2)

Tu esti fata care n-are ,
n-are , n-are suflet n-are,
care n-are suflet n-are….

Haide fata tu afara
sa te vada toti tiganii,
Haide fata tu afara

Hai Doamne ce-i cu fire ,
nu-ti gasesc ce-i cu mine,
hai off Doamne ce-i cu fire (x2)

Na na nanananaan…(x2)

Hai Doamne ce-i cu fire ,
nu-ti gasesc ce-i cu mine,
hai off Doamne ce-i cu fire (x2)

Tu esti fata fata buna,
care cu mine se joaca,
care cu mine nu se joaca

Haide fata tu afara
sa te vada toti tiganii,
Haide fata tu afara

Hai Doamne ce-i cu fire ,
nu-ti gasesc ce-i cu mine,
hai off Doamne ce-i cu fire (x2)

You are that girl (Translation, all I could get…)
You’re the girl who doesn’t have a soul,
Come outside so that all the gypsies can see you,
You’re a good good girl,Who is playing with me,
Who’s not playing with me,Come outside so that all the gypsies can see you…

    • Not exactly🙂

This is a Hungarian Gipsy band from Nagykanizsa, western Hungary,
singing a Boyash gipsy song. Boyash are a group of gipsies who are present in Hungary and speak an archaic version of Romanian.

      • I know romanian fluently and these lyrics are in romanian, not a single word differes.. so yes it is in the romanian language🙂

        PS great site!
